Research enables us to develop as a nation. In this  Research Institutes in Malaysia (Pusat Penyelidikan Di Malaysia) collection, three local research institutes are featured on stamps namely Institut Penyelidikan Perhutanan Malaysia (FRIM) (30sen stamp), Institut Penyelidikan Perubatan (IMR)  (70sen stamp) and  Lembaga Minyak Sawit Malaysia (MPOB) (RM1.30 stamp).
