EU Customs Requirements Update and Temporary Suspension of International Shipments to Selected EU Destinations

Dear Valued Customer,

Effective from 1 July 2026, new European Union (EU) customs requirements will apply to all shipments entering EU countries. These changes may result in additional custom duties and taxes.

Important Information 

• Shipments to Denmark, Estonia and Germany are temporarily suspended until further notice.
• All shipments item valued up to €150 to EU countries may be subject to €3 customs duty per item description (HS Code), payable by the recipient. Shipments valued above €150 will continue to be subject to existing custom duties and taxes.
• Personal gifts valued at €45 or less sent between individuals remain exempt from customs duties and taxes.
• If your business is registered under the EU’s Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme and ships to Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Luxembourg, and Portugal you are advised to co ntact Pos Malaysia before posting.
