How to Send Money (Direct to Bank):

  • To send money overseas, simply visit any post office outlet
  • Sender should fill out the ‘Send Money Direct To Bank’ form at Post Office.
  • Present the completed form along with the money you wish to send, the transfer fee and your identification document as required.
  • Sign and keep the receipt after verifying that all the details on it are correct.
  • Your money will be deposited into your receiver's qualifying bank account within an hour.

How to Send Money (Cash to Cash):

  • To send money overseas, simply visit any post office outlet
  • Sender should fill out the ‘Send Money Direct To Bank’ form at Post Office.
  • Present the completed form along with the money you wish to send, the transfer fee and your identification document as required.
  • Sign and keep the receipt after verifying that all the details on it are correct.
  • After completing the money transfer, sender will be issued a receipt bearing a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). Sender should then contact the receiver and provide the sender’s mandatory information as below to the receiver:
    • Sender's Name
    • The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)
    • Sending Amount
    • The sender’s country where money was sent from
    • Receiver must bring valid identification

Important Note: Please do not disclose your transaction details to anyone except your named received.

How to Received Money:

  • Ask the sender The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)
  • Visit a participating Post Office
  • Complete the ‘Receive Money’ form.
  • Present the completed form along with your identification document over the counter to collect payment.
