Steep in history, heritage, and culture, the three traditional boats featured in this issuance are Perahu Bangkong, Sarawak (30sen stamp), Perahu Lepa, Sabah (RM1.50 stamp), and Perahu Kolek Barat (RM5 Miniature sheet). These boats are not only used as modes of transport, but also for fishing, to compete in regattas and even as abodes.
